FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

FIITFAM is currently on the lookout for a Fitness Instructor to join our team! Our gym is growing fast and we need to add to our team to help us with the expansion!

Some of the main duties of this position include:

  • Coaching clients through programmes in group settings

  • Lead sessions that inspire, challenge, and motivate participants to achieve their fitness objectives.

  • Create engaging and effective workout routines that cater to varying fitness levels and goals

  • Provide personalised coaching and support to members, offering guidance on nutrition, exercise, and goal setting

  • Conduct fitness assessments and track members' progress to adapt training plans accordingly

  • Coaching clients through progressive training

  • Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring they feel valued, supported, and encouraged throughout their fitness journey

  • Demonstrating proper exercise instruction

  • Provide ongoing health and fitness education

  • Keep the community feel

  • Manage administrative tasks related to scheduling, member communication, and business operations

  • Participate in events outside of the day to day schedule

  • Basic knowledge of exercise physiology, nutrition, and fitness principles (experience preferred but not required).

  • Ability to work independently and manage the day-to-day operations

  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

 

Requirements:

  • Applicants will be required to run the morning and / or evening classes and weekend classes.

  • Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification

  • Due to the nature of the work all applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age

Job Type – zero-hour contract with the potential to become permanent

Expected hours – 8 to 15 hours per week

Salary – competitive rate depending on experience
